EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)
EFT is a self-help method based on research showing that emotional trauma contributes greatly to disease. Clinical trials have shown that EFT tapping is able to rapidly reduce the emotional impact of memories and incidents that trigger emotional distress. EFT is a combination of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology. It is a technique which utilizes the bodies energy meridian points. Stimulating these points cause changes in the brain and body. You may have heard it referred to as “tapping”.
EFT can be used to break through major emotional blocks that keep you from overcoming self doubt, eliminate fear and build confidence. It has brought thousands of people relief from all types of traumas that have been experienced in their lives along with the “small” aggravations that we can experience on a daily basis.
A few examples that can be tapped on are:
- Feelings of Anger/Resentment
- Anxious Feelings
- Feelings of Self Doubt
- Food Cravings
- Negative Beliefs About Yourself
- Self Sabotage
Many of us experience stressful and anxious lives, regular feelings of overwhelm and many other emotions that don’t feel very good. This can place enormous strain on our body, immune system and our overall health.
Studies have shown that many people can experience relief from illness and pain through the use of EFT. Study after study shows that when you deal with the underlying emotional issues, the body is brought back into balance, and immune system function improves! One way to reprogram your unconscious mind to bring your immune system back into balance is by using EFT (Tapping).
I started seeing you with the most horrible resistance to exercise as I am sure you remember. Today I scheduled a Zumba class with my friends even invited a neighbor. Well I had a long hard day at work and really just didn’t feel like doing it. But I persisted. I did it. As always I had fun. I went to text the girls a picture of how sweaty I was after class and I realized how incredibly happy I look as well. Maybe someone else might not notice but I really notice it in this really funny, sweaty picture and I wanted to say Thank you for that.L.B.
So I wanted to let you know that I have taken a new job! I owe this new opportunity to you!! Thank you so much for being present in my struggle and assisting me while I tapped through the barriers getting in the way of me being able to move forward. I used tapping all the way through the process whenever a new challenge emerged. I was very present to it’s calming effect and ability that opened up for me to actually ask for what I wanted. I know when I came to you that day, I was in real distress and I feel like within a short time my emotions were more under control so I could continue dealing with my fears. Thanks again and again and again!!S.L.
